When you install and use Copify, we may collect the following types of information:

• Store information (store name, URL, Shopify plan)
• Product data (titles, descriptions, images, variants, inventory)
• Customer records (names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses) — read from the source store and written to the destination store in transit only, and never stored by Copify
• Order records (order details, shipping information, status) — processed in transit only, and never stored by Copify
• Usage data (how you interact with our application)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain our migration services
• Sync data between your Shopify stores
• Improve and optimise our application
• Communicate with you about updates and support
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit with TLS and encrypted at rest with AES-256, and your Shopify access credentials carry an additional layer of AES-256-GCM encryption so that a database disclosure yields ciphertext rather than usable store credentials. Customer and order records are processed in transit only — they are read from your source store, written to your destination store, and are never written to our database. Product, collection and content data is retained where the service requires it: version history for 30 days, backups for 30 days by default, and sync logs for 14 days (90 days for material events). All of it is deleted when you uninstall or on request.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our application, subject to confidentiality agreements.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data

• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Uninstall the application from your Shopify store
