    The Home Hub

When you first open Copify, you'll land on the Home Hub (Dashboard). This central jumping-off point is designed to guide you exactly where you need to go based on your immediate task.

    Connections

Connect and pair multiple Shopify stores.

    Import Data

Bulk import products or orders via CSV.

    Backups

Trigger or schedule store data snapshots.

    Configuration Overview

    Connecting Stores

The Connections page is where you add and manage all stores in your Copify workspace.

    Connecting via OAuth

The most common way to connect stores you directly manage. This uses standard Shopify authentication to link your account.

    1. Click Add Store in the top-right corner
    2. Enter your store URL (e.g. your-store.myshopify.com)
    3. Authorise Copify in the Shopify admin redirect

    Universal Pairing Codes

Need to connect a store on a different Shopify account or an external partner's shop? Use Pairing Codes to bypass OAuth and link stores manually.

    Step 01: Host Store

Generate a 10-character pairing code from the store you want to link.

    614 293
    Step 02: Target Store

Enter the code in your main dashboard to establish the link instantly.

Codes expire after a short window

Once paired, configure a pipeline with one source and one destination. Data flows one way; create a separate pipeline if you need the reverse direction.

    Data Flows

Data Flows allow you to connect your stores into a synchronisation pipeline. You define the direction of the data: who is the source and who is the target.

    Real-time Sync

Source-store webhook events sync the affected record as they arrive. Best for active stores.

    Monitoring active

    Scheduled Sync

Syncs run at fixed times (daily, hourly). Better for controlled environments.

    Daily, hourly, live, or off

    Syncable Entities

Choose exactly which data types to sync. You have full control over what moves between stores.

    Products
    Inventory
    Customers
    Orders
    Pages & blogs
    Menus
    Redirects
    Collections
    Files, metafields & discounts

    Field-Level Overrides

Take flexibility one step further. Selectively choose how data is transformed or ignored. For example, sync everything about a product except for the price.

    Deployments

The Deployment Wizard is a guided source-to-destination workflow for selected Shopify theme files, supported linked data, and per-market theme customisations.

    The Deployment Wizard

    01

    Source Selection

Choose the source and destination stores and themes, then select the changed theme assets to move.

    02

    Asset Comparison

Review side-by-side diffs for changed Liquid, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON theme files.

    03

    Safe Mode Snapshot

A pre-deployment snapshot supports rollback when a recovery snapshot is available.

    04

    Push to Production

Execute the deployment. Status bars track the progress of every individual asset as it moves across.

    Handling Conflicts

Review the theme diff before deployment. For source and destination data that diverge outside the flow, use store comparison and the dedicated conflict tools.

    Backups & Restore

Create a point-in-time backup for one entity type before a risky change, or schedule it in the store's timezone.

    Entity Backups

Choose the store and entity type to snapshot. Completed backups can be downloaded as JSON or restored to the selected store:

    Products
    Pages
    Blog Articles
    Redirects
    Metafield definitions

    Restore Carefully

A restore writes the backup data back to the store and can overwrite current records. Create a fresh backup first if you need to preserve the current state.

    Daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly

    Storage Architecture

Backup payloads are stored in Cloudflare R2; the app records the backup metadata, size, item count, and expiry.

    CSV Imports

Use the CSV import wizard to load data into one connected Shopify destination. Copify validates the file, maps columns, previews the result, and tracks the job in the Imports Queue.

    Import Destination

Each import targets one connected Shopify store. Use the Imports Queue to monitor progress, investigate failures, and review completed jobs.

    ONE DESTINATION PER IMPORT

    CSV Processing

Our high-performance engine parses large CSV datasets in seconds. Simply drag, drop, and map your columns to the Shopify standard.

    CSV · UP TO 50 MB / 100,000 ROWS

    Dynamic Field Mapping

Copify suggests mappings from your CSV headers. Review the mapping and preview before import; the queue reports progress and any failures.

    Workspace Access

    User Roles & Permissions

    Owner

Full control + Billing + Store Pairing

    Admin

Full access; bypasses standard permission checks

    User

Access is granted per permission, such as connections, imports, backups, history, billing, or deployments

    Role-based access control

Grant only what each person needs

    Operate

Connections, pipelines, imports, backups, history, and analytics can be granted independently.

    Deploy

Separate permissions let a team member view deployments, manage them, or approve them.

    Administer

Assign users, manage billing or settings, and control API keys only to the people responsible.

Owner and admin roles have full access. User access is explicit and is enforced in both the app interface and its API routes.

    Deployment approval workflow

Use the approval path when a production change needs a second set of eyes. A requester prepares the deployment, then a permitted approver reviews and decides whether it proceeds.

    Request

A team member with deployment access selects the changes and sends the deployment for approval.

    Review & act

A team member with deployment approval permission can approve, reject with a reason, or roll back a completed deployment when a snapshot is available.

    Sidekick Assistant

    Built into Shopify Admin

    Just ask Sidekick

Copify plugs straight into Sidekick, Shopify's built-in AI assistant. Ask about your sync in plain language from anywhere in the admin — Sidekick replies with a quick summary and a link into Copify. It's read-only: it tells you the state of things, but never triggers a sync, backup, or any change.

    What you can ask

    Sync Status

    “Is my Copify sync working?”

Pipeline count, how many have errors, the last sync time, and per-pipeline drift.

    Pipelines

“Which Copify pipelines do I have?”

Every store-to-store connection with its status — links straight into the app.

    Backups

    “Is my data backed up?”

Backup coverage, recent activity, and when the last backup ran.

    Errors & Conflicts

“Are there any Copify sync errors?”

Recent failures and conflicts, with counts for today and this week.

    Read-only & store-scoped

Sidekick only sees Copify data for the store you're signed in to, and every answer includes a link so you can review and act inside Copify yourself.
